RELIEF PRINTMAKING

"Relief" refers to inking the top surface of a carved block - similar to a stamp. If you're thinking of making a relief print at a New Editions workshop, plan to print a single color (or rainbow roll, as below) in a single session. Multicolor prints take more time.
